I haven't had Aeros even a week yet, and he already is imitating what sounds to be an alarm. Is that a normal tiel noise or is he actually started to imitate this early on? It's somewhat hard to describe, and every time I walk in the room to record it he stops. Little booger. But it's like a. Woo wooo wooo wooo sound if that makes any sense. I will do my best to record it. But he doesn't want me to see him do it's guess. Lol:grey:

Mine makes a sound that sounds like "wewewewewewewe" and doesn't really make any other sounds. They may be learning how to sing.

That's what I was thinking. He's so secretive about it. I was standing outside of the room this orning when he was doing it and he did that sound and then threw in a wolf whistle or two. And shut up right as. Opened the door.

Kou isn't secretive about it, he's made the sound on my shoulder. However he is secretive about playing with toys lol

Have you not heard? The bird is the word!

Lol. He's still new, I'm sure he'll warm up and start doing it when i am present soon.

He is learning from an early age. I know of some birds that are afraid for their owners to hear them mimicking . Though , they will be comfortable. You know, this is a good time to start teaching them different tunes or words.

Yea, I just walked in on him and Sunny, our other tiel, singing together. As soon as I left the room they started up again. V.V
I'm working on the wolf whistle and hello right now. He's getting the whistle because I hear it when he does his alarm sound.
