Thinking about getting another member to our flock soon
Leoandflock has created a new social group called "I need help", with the following description:

My gcc is named Leo, I rescued him about a year ago but he was abused as a baby. This has left him very frightened of hands. I have worked with him for a year and he is alot more trusting of me. I got to a very good stage with him to where he would stand on my finger when I picked him up of a perch however, I moved house and since it has been very difficult to do this outside his cage. He is very sweet and playful, he never bites. He is fully flighted as he has been all his life.
He loves other birds and often likes to talk to birds he hears outside. I would like another bird. I have space for a large cage, I love bigger birds and I want to get one in the future but not right now. I know their is no guarantee they will get along as all birds r different but I know certain species tend to have similar traits and I would like to know if anyone could help me find a type of parrot that would fit well with Leo.
Thanks for reading, please help.

To join this group visit the social groups homepage where this new group will be listed.

Welcome, however I'm not sure why you come to such a large and knowledgable group of bird people and suggest people join your group. Why not just join in with THIS group???

Welcome to the forum! I don't see social groups are really active - I'm not in any of them so I can't say if no one uses it. I only checked in the past activity looking on dates of last posts. Anyway more people will help you if you post in the main part of forum
