So , I posted a few months ago about getting a B&G macaw that was 21 YO (I lost mine at 20 YO). He was pacing back and forth foot to foot. I took to avian specialist for a checkup, I really did not know much about his health, so I wanted a base line, turns out he has arthritis in his feet so the doctor prescribed an anti-inflammatory, now he is climbing the cage (which he would not do before) and now he rocks back and forth very little. I hope this helps someone

That is good news. Make sure his perch is natural and large diameter, like at least 2" and should have different diameters available to him too.

I agree, he has 5 perches in his cage
