I was finally able to take some pictures of Penny with a decent camera today. They still don't quite show off her true colors, but they're definitely better than the pictures my cell phone takes. Enjoy

GORGEOUS BIRD! What can you tell us about her personality? Is she snuggly, loud, busy?

She is definitely busy, just like most conures. She loves playing with her toys all day. She is such a sweet bird and really enjoys human interaction. She's not super cuddly all the time, but she does enjoy getting scritches every once in a while. She really isn't loud at all for a conure. Most of the time she just chatters quietly to herself. She does have her moments where she will screech, but it is still WAY quieter than most other conures.

I finally thought of a name for my CBC and it is Rufus. Has something to do with redness but he's a baby so no red yet

She's about 2 years old. I think rufus is a great name!

I like Rufus, too. It's definitely different. As a kid I had an Oscar (fish) named that.
