Number 2 - this one was on me...

Tusk was bombarding me with "Wanna go outside?" "Wanna go for a walk?" "Come on Tusk, Let's go outside..."

Hhhmmm... is that some sort of a hint?!

But, in those days, I had 11 birds, and they each had to wait there turn. Do things out of order, and chaos ensued... It was a "Rain Man" time for Judge Whopner kind of moment...

So, it wasn't his turn. And when I picked up the conures he knew that I had not been persuaded to take him out first... even though he really wanted to!

SOOOO....

My conures were poop trained. And he tells them USING MY VOICE. To "GO POOP!" And all three of them did. All over me. Big wet once.

He was so pleased with himself that he did his poofy bird dance, and said:

"Gotta clean up the poopy mess!"

YOU TRY NOT TO LAUGH AND REINFORCE THE BEHAVIOR ON THAT ONE, BUT I HAD TO ADMIT, YOU GOT ME GOOD THAT TIME TUSK!!!

My CAG has gotten a special new sound too! I have a Samsung Galaxy phone that makes a dripping sound (just like water) when you touch the screen. He's learned it perfectly as well as the ring used for texting....time to change the tones!!

Karma LOVED saying "come in" in my voice at any knock on the door a habit my Doberman did NOT approve of. The look on people's faces to have me say come in (they thought) then have a huge dog looking unkindly wasn't very fun for them but it cracked me up. I knew my dog and he would have eaten someone if they touched me but any thing else was pretty much a bluff. Karma also used to call Thor, then tell him to "sit" which of course he would, he did whatever mommy told him to and since it was my voice...I would find the dog just sitting in front of Karma's cage obediently while I swear he gloated!

He actually got me good the other day. I was in my bedroom when I heard the unmistakable sound of my phones battery being flat, walk into the lounge to go put the phone on charge, but upon inspection, I discovered that it was not the phone, but had to be the funny grey thing happily staring at me from the top of his cage. 10 points to you, Charlie!

When Willie hears the phone ring, it can be home phone or ringtone from our cell phone, he instantly says "Hello". IF you answer the phone, he'll scream none stop until you hang up. He hates us talking on the phone.....
