Has anyone tried this? I just got, I love made in America, and the ingredients make me happy. Stupid soy is listed 4th, better than some brands that list first or second. I tried tasted fresh and could taste ingredients. Gave to birds they all ate one from my hand, will have to see if they choose it on their own.

Anyone???? Lol
I like the pellets and every bird I have likes them, even Penny! I put them out in a separate dish when I served the morning veggies, every went w grabed one! They are big pellets, I break them in half for less wastage.

A very wise man one said that the best pellets are the ones your bird will actually eat (it may have been Scott :))

We don’t have a whole lot of choice in pellets here in Australia so I can’t advise. Ours seem to be too heavy with soy which I’m not crazy about either. One of our local retailers however will be selling TOPS shortly which I believe has much less soy content so I’ll be trying that soon!

Yeah, Roudybush lists soy as second ingredient, then soy oil as fourth! Yuck

Yes TOPS is awesome! But my birds only it right after I open the bag. Iv tried storing in fridge, freezer, in glass jar, nothing maintain freshness. :( The pellets loose that green real quick. What do you do to keep fresh???
Harrison has soy to.
I don't like soy because I grew up next to soybean feilds, and absolutely nothing ate them, no rabbits, no deer, no wild birds. And I know it used as ingredient because it is so cheap to produce!!!!!!
I need to research if there is fact based reasons it shouldn't be in our parrot food. U mess someone has that info?

Here is a bit of an article I will link. In the article they argue both ways, but in the end the author is against soy.
1) The fungal toxin zearalenone – – caused by poor storage or poor growing conditions.
2) Coumestrol, this being present in Soy sprouts and sometimes in the beans.
3) Insoflavones which are always associated with say protein.

This occurs in very few other foods for human consumption although it does occur in beer causing the feminization of men who are heavy beer drinkers.

Because of the similarity of their chemical structures zearalenone coumestrol and the isoflavones are phytoetrogens (that is estrogen derived from plants causing many of the symptoms noted in the birds).

My Sunny would not like them as they contain Banana. She has made her strong dislike of banana very clear! I search ingredients lists to avoid banana, apple, blueberries, cranberries... All wonderful foods which she avouds at all costs!

Give em a try! I have just about every pellet out there. They eat them. But if I put these out they are chosen first! Even obove other goodies like some seeds and veggies. I know only one person he tried them with me, a d I only heard about first offering rejection they haven't followed up to say if things impove. But if any one else tries them I'd like to hear . Got at pet smart listed as new iteam
