New mommy questions:)

I am a new mommy. I have a 13 week old Hahn's Macaw and would like to take her biking with me, does anyone know of a handle bar carrier for parrots? Also, just a general carrier, on the lines of the Celltei pak o bird, but not so darn expensive? And last question is their anything you spray on their feathers that helps keep them conditioned. She takes a bath regularly, just wondering if any of you guys use something extra besides just water. Thanks. Elaine and hahnna

I don't bike with my birds so I'm not sure what you would use....

A lot of members would spray all natural aloe vera mixed with water to condition their feathers.

Put a front rack on your bike and just use a dog kennel secured down. They can see, you can see them and they are some what protected against accidents.

Birdman. I know after I posted my husband was yelling at me. He does not want Hahnna on the bike, or our Yorkie. I guess he does not trust my driving. LOL. He told me if anything happens to either of them, do not come home. I guess I will probably just stick to taking her when I walk the dogs, althoug my Avian vet tells me to watch for hawks, that one of his clients had his bird ripped right off his shoulder and carried away

shelly, thanks for the idea and info on what to use on her feathers, someone mentioned just water. I just thought maybe they had a conditioner for them.
