i am a new member, and just recently bought a 2 month old baby green cheeked conure. i don't know if it is a boy or gril and i can't say i will have it tested. but i am in love already i do have a couple questions.......... how many days should i wait to start training? i tried to put him on his back and he didnt like it. also, is there a "bed" i can put in the cage? he seesms to be hanging on all night and not sitting a perch. and also, should i take him to the vet? he has had two vaccines. do they need more? thanks so much

It is a good idea to take him to the vet every so often to make sure he is in good health. Most birds will perch at night. My Dusky Conure, however hangs onto the cage for a few nights following me changing around his toys. How long have you had your conure?
