Hi my name is Kim and my little guys name is Kito. He is a BC Caique and I love him to death. This is the first time I have owned a caique and I don't know anyone else that does. I believe he is almost a year old not 100% sure on that as we'll not really sure he is a he but that is what we are going with. I have a question his beak seems to be getting really sharp. What should i do about that. Do you trim their beaks or is there something I should be using to help dull it down a bit? Any advice would be appreciated. :rainbow1:

Welcome to the forum!!! :)

Yea you can have a vet to trim their beaks and what you can do to help with it at home is by purchasing a concrete perch as they will use it to file it down. There's quite a few members that owns Caiques on here if you have any addition questions.

Hi Kim and welcome! Concrete perches is an excellent suggestion:)
I would love to see pictures of Kito when you get a chance!
