Hi. I am new to this forum. I started off by looking for a home for a cockatiel that was "dumped" at my vet's office. Because I basically have a petting zoo at my house(dogs, cat, rats, green cheek conure, leopard tortoise, greek tortoise), my vet asked if I would take the bird. Molly, my conure is soooooo jealous of any time spent with the "newcomer". I don't want to keep her stressed out, so I am looking for a good home for him. Anyway, I adore Molly. She is a little tease toward most, but loves me with her whole heart.

Good for you trying to find a good home for her! You might want to at least let people know your location as that might assist your efforts. Maybe at least the state. I applaud your efforts!

I hope you find a good home for your foundling! But, you may find that after a while Molly enjoys having another bird around, even if she is jealous and they don't interact directly. Scooter acts put out when I spend time with the other two birds, but if one of them is out of sight, he will contact call, and I think it's kind of like siblings... I hate you, but I'd be sad if you really went away, sort of thing.

Our 'tiel was an accident, too. Flew up right after we put our house on the market, last thing we wanted was one more cage to move! He literally turned up the first day the house was being shown.
