- Nansun / Roseifrons conure / Parakeet / Stella lorikeet
Hello everyone! I’m new to the Forums and I currently reside in Utah. I bought my first bird about 4 years ago and after a tragic accident with my green cheek conure I currently have these 4 lovely feathered friends.
I have a wonderful not even 1 year old Roseifrons conure named Zarza. He is my fire cracker of the group, very playful and outgoing and also a little rascal when he wants to be.
Hamlet is my not even 1 year old Nansun conure. I was torn between him and the roseifrons and went with the roseifrons because this guy reminded me too much of my other bird. About a week later I felt guilty and decided I needed him only to find that someone else had bought him and was trying to flip him on local classifieds. It took my 2 months to track him down but ended up finding him and bringing him home in the end. Him and my roseifrons conure are like soulmates in a sense. They can’t be apart for long or they call to each other. They are always cuddled together even when they hang out with me.
My Parakeet cloud Is 4 years old and was a 2 year old loner in petco when I got her. She was off to herself and since no one wanted her petco let her go to me. She has been an amazing bird that has learned so many fun sayings and tricks.
Last is my newly adopted 2 yo Stella lorikeet. This little bugger is named Toki is and testing me everyday as a bird owner. He is VERY much all about needing him time and when he wants to socialize he will. I’m adjusting to him just as much as he is adjusting to me. He hasn’t been easy by any means but thankfully this forum is here!
All my birds are flighted and able to fly around to multiple areas of the house with huge tree stands and occasionally landing on my head lol. Anyways, here is my flock!
