new male gouldian finch

I know there are some finch lovers on this forum, so I thought I would share my latest member, I just recently purchased from a breeder.

He is a beautiful 1 year old male GB, orange face,purple breast gouldian.
He is split to yellow as the mother was a yellow back.
I have a sweet little honey here for him, after I quarantine him....that's for you MikeyTN,lol, and my birds of course

I have provided a picture of him,I have also included a photo of a canary/finch nest the breeder gave me.
I haven't seen these before, and was wondering where I can purchase them?
I live in Canada, north of Toronto, although I order most of my things from the states, if I can't get it here.

I haven't seen that type of nest box but that is a beautiful and very handsome fella you have there. now we need a picture of his bride to be.

thanks, although I am quarantining him in a separate cage. he has not moved from the perch since he was put in the cage around 4 pm.
it's almost like he has shut down.
he has not eaten nor drank anything.
if he's the same today, I may consider putting the female in with him.

I have seen those before used by canary breeders, but I'm not sure where to get them you might ask on FINCHforum.com
