Good Morning everyone!
I have had my sweet little Petra for one day now! She will step up in a perch and once I have her on a perch I can get her to step up a few times on my fingers. But once she gets to my shoulder to goes straight to my hair. Also she has not touched much of her food should I be concerned yet?
TIA

Have you got an avian vet yet? A first check-up is so helpful! Especially if you're concerned about eating... here's how to find one.

Regular vets often "wing it" with birds, although some are very dedicated.

I wouldn't worry to much about her appetite just yet. It's been my experience that a new home creates uncertainty and fear. Her appetite should return as she gets more comfortable in her new surroundings

I will add some tonight :) She is such a sweet girl we are working on kisses and she seems to get it and she will step and step down out of the cage. She has a favorite spot and that is at the lamp shade in the living room. So when I get her out when i get home from work that is where I put her. But she will stay there all day and only come down to drink water and eat. I still have not gotten her to eat out of my hand or come out of the cage to me by herself. I am getting her to step on my finger to remove her! I am so excited to get her larger cage its going to be huge for her.
