Welcome! I also joined after adopting a blue & gold this fall, and the folks here have been helpful beyond words. The macaw forum is a good place to begin, and Birdman666's posts are golden. You'll find threads from other new macaw parronts which might be illuminating - all the adopted birds have completely different personalities.
