I have a rescued 14 year old cockatoo named Baby!
He can say,"Hello Baby", "Hey Baby", and "I love you!" all other talk is gibberish!

Mostly, he just says "Hello" over and over again.

I have joined this site to learn the best way to keep his weight up. He is very active and can lose weight fast at times.

He is extremely affectionate! I call him a he because his eyes are as black as coal! My understanding is the females eyes are dark brown.

For this site, I chose the name "Hraesvelg". That name is of a mythological eagle of Vicking lore! Every time you fell the wind blowing is because Hraesvelg is flapping his wings!

Keep a close eye on his weight, weigh him daily, very important.

These are a couple of pics when I first got him. I have bathed him twice since those pictures were taken, so his feathers don't look so matted now. I use parrot shampoo.
