Hi, I'm Hannah and here are my birds - Puff (blue with yellow head), Peewee (white), Pixel (blue), Pippy (cockatiel) and Pikachu (kakariki). My birds are my whole world, they are extremely spoilt. They are only put in cages for bed, even Pixel who as you see had her wings clipped as a baby has had a ladder specially made for her to get in and out of her cage by herself. Puff is basically my soulmate and she does everything with me. Peewee and Pixel prefer to play with each other and spend ages being adorable preening each other. Pippy is extremely sweet, loves cuddles and scritches and is learning to sing some tunes. Pikachu is my newest addition and calling him Detective Pikachu would be pretty spot on since he has to investigate everything! I also have a house rabbit, Beau, who is just a giant, soppy teddy bear that loves a fuss and will lick you to death.

Welcome to you, Hannah, and your menagerie! How many "takes" were needed to capture that amazing group selfie?

I took a video and then did a photo capture, its a good little trick =)

How do you manage your rabbit plus the birds? Asking because I've been really interested in getting a rabbit at some point lately...

My rabbit is a really good boy, he's litter trained and completely free roam. He doesn't have a cage or pen or anything but he has a corner of the living room where his litter tray, food/water bowls, hay rack etc. are. My birds also live in the living room. They get put in cages at night but otherwise they're out all the time too. Only one of my budgies, Puff, sometimes pesters Beau... if he's playing with a piece of cardboard she wants then she'll go and peck his nose but he's so gentle he'll just let her have it and go find something else to play with. But for the most part the birds aren't on the floor but they do all love going down and playing with the hay that he's dragged out lol =) Happy to answer anything else you want to know!
