New Green Quaker

So I got this parakeet from my gf he is 2 she didnt mess w him much but said he was nice once outside of cage. He seems to be very aggressive and bites hard. He comes out on his ledge but you cant get near him he bit me so hard today he broke my skin. How do I calm him or get him to trust me? Help. His name is grinch

Seems like a lot of people got Quakers today!
Quakers are cage agressive. If he claims that ledge too, you will need to add a perch on the side, and teach him to step up from there.
It takes time to earn trust and make freinds.
