New Green Cheek Conure

A couple days ago I brought home my baby GCC. I plan on getting him/her DNA tested to figure out it's sex, so a name has not yet been determined. He/she is very social, and loves everybody in my family. I have been teaching my bird to step up, and he/she has been doing rather well. As many birds, my bird does enjoy being on my shoulder and will fly from one side of the room to where I am just to be up there! The bird is pretty quiet, which is good for I do not want to disturb neighbors! I will be uploading pictures soon!

Sounds like your baby is starting off great! I just got my 2 cinnamon green cheeks a couple days ago myself. They where already dna sexed male and female. They arnt so friendly like my sunday conure but they dont mind being held. they actually do step up even though they are a bit scared. Im giving them time to adjust and they seem to be doing better lol. But it souds like you have a sweetie . Oh and Welcome!

Yea your bird seems do be doing great,i am trying to get a green cheek conure as well but i can't get one yet because my parents said i have to pay for it.I have enough for the bird but not the cage yet.
