Hi! I am a proud new member and recent owner of a 16 year old male Goffin Cockatoo. I'm excited to be a member and am looking forward to all of your help and wisdom.

While there is a lot of experience in our membership, there are a number of good videos on YouTube & other sites about parrot training.....it sounds like you and a lot of us have done, believed all those good selling points that a bird seller has told us, without having our own training program in place, ready to go & learn along with our new feathered friend(s).....

Hi, CloudySkyy! I, too, am a new member and just lost my little Goffin three days ago. You are so fortunate to own one of these truly fabulous little birds. I got mine as a rescue and when he arrived, it was like the circus came to town -- never a dull moment. I'm sure you and I will have lots of stories to share.
