New Foster - Another Conure of Course

Say Hello to Cheech! Though we will probably be changing that name. Supposed to be mothers Foster but he doesn't like her very much but may like me just a little too much!

Hahaha! How sweet! I love how he was just sitting there running his face against your knees... too cute. Do you know much of his back story?

We don't know much for the back story. He is a transfer from another shelter and we believe he is under five years old. He got excited when he saw my plate of food and seemed to know what my drink was right away too. Stuck his face right into my cup and ate off the fork without hesitation. Unlike Kelly who still thinks I'm going to stab him with the fork and drown him in the cup 99% of the time

We have a couple adopters coming Wednesday that I am going to take him back to meet! The only way I'm getting another conure is if my sun gets along with one and can live with it. Otherwise all the small bird slots are filled up

Right now I'm bonding with a scarlet macaw over our mutual amusement in torturing other volunteers:54: I've been told that they aren't surprised evil gets along

Loki doesn't seem too fond of other birds...she just tolerates them..


This guy is suckering me in tonight! He bumped his beak into my chin like a kiss and was turning his head into scratches. Dancing for me and saying hello...rubbing his beak on my knee again. I will stay strong! He is staying at the shelter tomorrow when I take him to meet people....I introduced him to Loki but she had no interest in him....

I have to lock Skittles in the bathroom when I go to feed Peaches and change her water. Otherwise, he will fly into the bedroom and land on the front of the cage and try to prevent me from going near her.

He's a sweetheart, but he gets REALLY nasty when he gets jealous.
