Just wanted to introduce myself. My husband and I are retired and live in Costa Rica. We bought a hand-fed Sun Conure 4 weeks ago and fell in love with the little one. The breeder is getting out of the bird business and sold us her remaining stock of 3 birds yesterday. We now have a pair in one cage, and 2 females in two other cages for a total of 3 females and 1 male.
We're trying to learn all we can about these little birds. The 3 females we have are all sisters from different broods. The male is unrelated to any of the females and is 4 years old. The females are all under 10 months old.
