So I finally got Hotrod's new cage in, and he loves it! It is CONSIDERABLY bigger than the one he had previously. He wasn't too sure about it at first, but he was on my shoulder while I was moving all of his toys and his little sleeping hut into the new cage. Once I was done, I put him in it. He started screeching and hanging upside down; at first I thought he was scared. But when I tried to get him out, he did not want to come out. He kept circling around the cage and hopping around. He absolutely loves it. I can't wait for his new toys and perches to come in! I will have to take pictures when I get it all fixed up.:09:
I will post the link of where I got the cage from, in case any of you are looking to get a cage. It is a great cage for conures at a very reasonable price. The bars are not too big, but are still very sturdy. In the title it says it is suitable for a cockatoo, but I personally don't think a bird much bigger than a conure would do too well in it...
