Just wanted to post in here since yesterday I picked up my new Congo African Grey. His name is Baby Boy. I got him from a family that just did not have the time to spend with him. Just getting him familiar with me so we can start our beautiful relationship. He is my first CAG so I am sure that I will posting questions in here regularly. He is a little different than my Green Cheek Conure.

Awesome looking congo. Hope all goes will as they are really fantastic birds in all areas.

Congrats on your new addition. If that is you in the picture holding him, then your already well on your way to forming a lasting relationship.

That is me holding him. We are still building trust so he has only let me hold him three times so far but he does like me to pet his head quite often. First time i thought he was going to nip at me and he touched my finger with his beak and made a kissing sound...lol
 
What a beautiful bird! I love this video and it really shows a lot of what they can do!

Actually Einstein was the CAG that changed my mind from wanting a Macaw...lol
 
Congrats on the new addition! He's a beauty!!!! Im a macaw fan though!! :) African greys are wonderful but my passion is else where... :)

As you can see by my name in the parrots I have posted... quite a few in my flock as well...lol....you just wait, you'll get there...lol

I still have a yearning to get a macaw but I think I'll wait a bit on that one.
