She's beautiful! Congrats!! I guess I never realized that orange winged amazons can have the blue coloring on their head. I learn something new everyday. So, then, how do you tell the difference between a blue front and an orange wing?? (just wondering)

Anyway, it sounds like you are making great progress. Take it slow and be patient. She will learn to trust you and it all gets easier from there.

Orange Wings have the orange feathers in their wings, Blue Fronts have red feathers in the wings Blue front has a dark beak and the Orange wing has sort of a two toned beak. Apparently

Orange wing color can vary a little bit, but mine has yellow and lavender on his head and bright orange cheeks.
