Arty & Greenie (parakeets), Skyfall (cockatiel)
So I had been searching for english budgies in my area for some time now. Yesterday I found a website about a huge bird store in Stamford, CT so we went to go check it out...and we brought home a cockatiel. My boyfriend fell in love with it as soon as we walked in. Has no name yet, suggestions would be awesome. :D So scared right now. And my keets are very suspicious.

Aww, how cute! If it's a boy, I like the names Rocky, Ozzy, Jasper, Bowie, and Mo.
If it's a girl, how about Kiki, Lola, Missy, or Willow?

This is also a good site for brd names.

Congrats on your new flock member!

That's a beauty. I'm not good a names for pets but I was thing about the name of Harry potters owl for some reason but I can't remember what the name was, lol.

Aw how cute, I vote for Hedwig too!
Or how about greycloud, I love that name and it would fit considering the coloration.

He looks like a Boris to me!

Lol Boris! Boris is actually a DJ I like a lot. I was thinking Peeves (the poltergeist from harry potter), as a possibility. But my boyfriend and I can't seem to agree on a name. Poor thing is still terrified. Put some mash in along with millet and regular seed. The store owner said he likes it so hopefully he'll start calming down and eating soon.

For some reasons I am not fond of Cockatiels....but I have to say that he is BEAUTIFUL and he would probably make me change my mind!!!
You must have gotten him from Parrots&Co ?

Yup I did! I couldn't believe I didn't know of the place until yesterday. So happy I found it.

I got my Dusky Pionus from them about 5 years ago. Oh how I wish I lived closer.....(I am about 1hr 40mn away)......but I still made the trip a few times a week to visit my baby while she was being weaned :10:

Yes Peeves is a great name too. Especially if he turns out to have a playful, sneaky personality. =)

Yeah I am about 2 hours from it as well. Loved that silly cat they had there.

So we chose the name Skyfall. After a song (Skys Fall Down) and a robot from the Transformers series of cartoons. :) Sky is eating and drinking and playing with some toys. She had a night fright last night, don't blame her. Such a stressful day. My parakeets keep trying to engage her in conversation.

What a beautiful whiteface!!! I recently got to hand feed a baby whiteface for my breeder, and he was such a doll, that I am surprised that my husband let her take him back. He fell in love with that sweet tiel! Have fun with your new baby!

How pretty! I've never seen coloring quite like that.

I'm going to guess that it is a boy, because the plumage is so distinct.

Speaking of Harry Potter names, I used to have a budgie named Pigwidgeon.
