New baby Quaker- cage question

Hi Folks-

I ordered a cage for my new baby (10 weeks- no name yet!) and I realized that I didn't check to make sure the bar spacing was appropriately sized. It should be here Monday.. but I'm curious if anyone has this cage and maybe confirm that it'll work? I've attached the picture- I'll double check to make sure it works.. and here's the specs on the cage that I could see:

Total dimension: 31" x 29.5" x 68"
Cage dimension:22.4" x 24" x 34.6"
Material: iron
Package included:1 x Large cage,1 x Ladder,2 x removable top / bottom slide-out trays,5 x Stainless Steel Bowls,2 x Perches,1 x screw driver,Screws

Yes, that cage has 5/8" spacing so you should be good.

The bar spacing is 5/8! Thank you for easing my mind.. I have it all put together and the baby has been exploring it. I still need to figure out a name... I just can't find one that I like.

Would two quakers need a bigger cage? Or would that size work comfortably?

I would house them separately if I were you unless you buy them as a bonded pair. Otherwise you may discover they don't get along and have yourself a sticky situation! They can move in together if they get along happily. For two birds, definitely get the biggest cage you can afford. They need room to get away from one another in case they have a bit of a tiff. I wouldn't call it absolutely too small for two Quakers (who are relatively small birds), but if you can afford bigger then do it! Maybe one that goes all the way to the floor instead of being on a stand? Think of it as living with a roommate--and not being able to leave, you are locked inside with that person. If you have a small apartment, you might get in fights a lot and annoy each other. If you have a mansion, not so much.

That makes complete sense. After I thought about it more and really assessed both bird's size.. (one young-not fully grown..and one adult)..I think two cages would work better. And they're not a pair yet, if it happens, it would take time. And if they did like each other..they could always visit
