I tried the mashed veg for her 2nd meal today. I did her broccoli, cauliflower, Sweet potato, sweet pepper, squash, runner beans and carrots and she loved it. She didn't throw her bowl or throw the food everywhere and I put no nuts or seeds in with it. So I did her a big batch and put it in the freezer. I think she does miss her baby food. Her whole temperament changed today. No pacing up and down no screaming and she seems very happy

Glad to hear she's settling in better now. As for wing clipping, it's a very sensitive topic that can cause some rather heated discussions. Full disclosure here...my boy was clipped when I got him and I had him clipped a year ago because he had no tail--which made landing impossible for him. Now he has full wing and tail feathers and he remains unclipped while he is learning to fly. Personally, Im a moderate...I prefer to keep the bird unclipped UNLESS it's for their safety or benefit (that's another discussion too). Im sharing my view because I think it's important that you NOT clip her right now, specifically because she's young and she needs to learn how to navigate. Once she's learned how to fly/land, etc...THEN you might want to make that decision. While older birds can learn how to fly, it is definately in the birds best interest if they learn while they are young. My advice is for her/you specifically because of her age---not based on any thoughts about birds need to stay flighted, etc...I do think clipping needs to be an informed decision, not just a quick convenience/solution. Its also a good chance to train her to a flight harness while she's young too :D

Glad to see the mashed veggies seem to be doing the trick. Remember to keep switching up the ingredients, as variety will both keep her interested and keep her healthier in the long run. For the most part, you want to eliminate seeds and nuts from her regular meals, saving them exclusively as training treats and such.

Also, keep in mind that most pellet brands are not made with eclectic sensitivities in mind, and often lead to toe-tapping and wing-flipping when used as either a major part or the exclusive component of their diet. Some have reported success with brands supposedly specifically formulated for ekkies, but I choose to go with an all fresh diet and it has served my ekkies well for years, now.

As for clipping, I personally never clip my birds. But more importantly for your specific situation, I'd like to cosign on what coopedup has said. Clipping at this young age is definitely not the way to go. She should be in the midst of fledging, and clipping her wings while at this stage would be psychologically and developmentally detrimental. To clip or not to clip is a decision to be made for a later time.
