Hello all, thank you for the add to your community, let me introduce my new girl Pepper" I just found out she's a girl' Pep is a Crimson bellied conure, I loved her colours , and what she will become...my swan' Pepper has some red on her chest and under her wings at the moment I was told 4-5 mths approx., she was hand raised, and very easy to handle. loves head rubs.
I am a dental technician , we live in Barossa valley Australia, I have a quarter horse -buckskin, mare'-Dakota who i have had since 11 mths. I Broke her in and now ride. I am also lucky enough to live with my border collie , another girl - Keira ( one brown & one blue eye and a stunning black n white ) seems the girls are like magnets- I wanted males , but girls are what came in all species..no complaints . I love photography , quilting and drawing /painting .
pretty busy ...keeps you out of mischief I'm told' ........ doesn't really ' but its a good thought. :gcc:
oh and I'm Patricia ' :)

Hi Patricia :) welcome to the club!

Your animals sound great!
A lovely bunch.

Welcome and be welcomed. We dont get a lot of crimson bellied conures on here, tell us more about why you picked this species, please.

Welcome Patricia and Pepper! Thanks for a lovely introduction, we do love pics!!

That’s a beautiful little conure!

I envy your home in Australia. It must be so cool to have those many beautiful parrot species around you.

Where I live is too cold for parrots. I would guess the Carolina parakeet may have been this far north. But not any longer. Unless global warming changes our winters a lot, any parrot here would freeze.
