Yes..I live in Baltimore County Maryland and I don't have any connections for Bulk (like 20-25 pounds) large parrot mix and sunflower seeds. I also would like to know how much of the 20 to 25 pound mix and sunflower seeds is an African Congo Gray going to eat.I had an African Congo Grey in 1984-85 and don't remember. I've owned and traded quite a few birds in the 1980s..3 Yellow Napes..1 Yellow headed Amazon..2 Moloucan Cockatoos..Blue and gold Macaw.. African Congo Grey..Nanday and Mitred Conure..I lost contact with the livestock supply company in my area that sold Bay-Mor parrot mix(either 20 or 25 pounds) and sunflower seeds in large bags maybe 25 to 20 pounds..they went out of business.. They sold both items reasonable for that era.. I really could use a regular supply source, not just a one time purchase.

Welcome and be welcomed. Conventional parrot diet philosophy from 20 yrs ago has gone thru quite a revision, and feeding any parrot on a diet that heavily leans of sunflower seeds and similar 'parrot mixes' of seeds and peanuts have been shown to be less then optimal for their long term health. Modern balanced diets are more like 60% veggies, 20% pellets of various brands, and 10% each of fruits and seeds. THe percentages vary of course depending on the species, in example budgies and cockatiels more seed is expected for those 2, they being seed-avores in the wild. Veggies are actually pretty easy to provide by making "chop" (a bunch of veggies chopped or put thru a food processer) and either served fresh or like I do, from a big batch that has been packaged in smaller amounts and thawed before serving.
