I need advice on helping with balance on both my rescue macaws and on how to build their wing muscles one can flap her wings at least and the other can barely.

Within the Amazon Forum is a very informative Thread, Titled: I Love Amazons ... Within that huge Thread is Segment that address Fledging an Amazon. Like near all that thread the information can be used with near all Parrots. Use that Segment to teach your Macaws the basics of flight and they will be fling before you are ready for them.

FYI: Teaching "Recall" is very important!!

My Ekkie had balance issues when I first got him. A swing really helped gain strength in his claws/feet. He now has good balance, and strength.
