Just figured I'd update everyone- I had to put Stanley down Saturday night. Things got way worse very suddenly.

You gave him a wonderful life full love and happiness, and your final act to save him from further pain was borne of your immense love for him too. My most heartfelt condolences go out to you Ziel, Stanley was a lovely little birdie and he was so lucky to have an amazing parront like you.
