I like the name Moose.

As for having too many parrots? Every time I think I have enough (or too many) another one works their way into my heart. Then I have panic modes for about a week and then everything turns out okay. I don't go looking for them anymore. Half of my birds have found me. I haven't had a baby bird yet. I'm honestly scared that I would screw it up. The bird would more than likely out live me and that is something that I think about. BUT in the meantime I'm giving my fids a happy home to live in.

'He' is SOOOOOOO precious! They are so cute when they are all 'stubbly' like that:D Just admit it though, you have a bird addiction:54: For a boy, I like the name Moose and girl Clair. I haven't heard either of those as bird names before and both are cute:)

I hear you on names too. At least with all your birds, you have a very 'diverse' bunch of names (and species!). 'Kiwi' wouldn't have been on my personal list of name ideas either, but we didn't know if he knew his name or not and ended up keeping it in case he did (also, I'm terrible at picking names for pets, he might've been named Mr. Bird knowing me lol). I do suspect he was probably renamed Kiwi by the lady who had him before us and was named something else before that (he just doesn't really respond to his name like other birds:31:).

I recently got a Kiwi. I wanted to change the name to Forest...he is very green...but after a few days of calling him Forest he looked at me and said "Hi, Kiwi." So, we are back to Kiwi and every once in a while I throw the name Forest in for my sake.

I love the name Harper!!
I also kept some of our rehomes names, and renamed the ones who came from not so good homes and didn't know their names. I think the main one I would have changed if I could was Ekko, since there are so many named that...but since he knows it, I just changed the spelling and I don't think he minds that:)

Your new baby is precious!!!

I think only you know how many are too many. I know I am at my absolute limit. Miss Zoe sucks all the attention out of me :) Unless I can think of not working for a living there will be no more birds!

Anyway, you could do like we did. Each day we'd try out a new name and say it out loud to Zoe to see what fit. Well, the day we started trying Zoe, Sydney our male sennie repeated it right away, so Zoe it was!

That's so funny !!!!!

This is So Funny...I have at least a year before I can get my new addition (May not last that long), and evertime a cute name pops in my mind I've been keeping a list of in my phone.....Your Baby is Beautiful!!!

When I got my cockatiel (years ago) I named him/her Sam. I thought Sam was a boy, but SHE layed an egg the second year I had her so that cleared up the question of her sex, lol.

I think you should name your baby what you want.

LOL Weezerj!

Your baby is precious. I am horrible at choosing names - totally not creative in that department. Can't wait to find out what you decide.
