That's how currently this quick done breeder looks. She is eating from time to time. I don't know honestly. I don't have opportunity currently to give off heat. Tomorrow I'm planning to go to pet store. Im watching her all the time. Really hard situation. I gave her food and water.

I'm not sure what could I more do as for this moment. Trying to do my best to keep her alive. :(

Understand, hopefully the pet store has knowledgeable people.

The best way to create heat and humidity is to place her in a bathroom (washroom) and run the shower on "hot." That quickly raises temperature and humidity. The idea is to help enlarge and moisten the vent, allowing the egg to pass. Again, this is a home remedy and does not take place of an avian vet, and assumes the diagnosis is correct.

Thanks you for your help. I'll see what I can do. Can I write to you here, how will the situation develop? Or maybe you have your e-mail? I really appreciate your help, I can't even describe it.

My pleasure, happy to try and help! Please check your PM.

Scott, what do you think about setting a small lamp on the parrot, to emit warm? With light bulb

My parrot died a few minutes ago. Thank you Scott, for all your help. You were the only one, who helped me. I really appreciate that friend. Take care

Very sorry she passed, my deepest condolences, Artur.

I'm sorry you are going through this! I hope it all works out!!!
Good advice from Scott (above).

The one thing I want to point out is that just because one bird is acting healthy and one is acting sick, does not mean that both are out of danger of illness. Much like Covid-19, birds can be asymptomatic (only much longer periods of time). This means that seemingly healthy birds can transmit or contract illness and remain without symptoms for many years (while still spreading it to other birds who do get sick). Sometimes a birds can carry and spread a disease without any symptoms for his/her entire natural life-span, other times, it takes weeks, months or years before symptoms show. It is very tricky. In your case, it does sound like something like egg-binding or a blockage, and I know Scott asked about the behavior of your other bird to narrow things down, but I just wanted to clarify (for future reference) that just because a bird is acting healthy does not mean it is not a danger to itself, or more importantly, other birds.

I will look closely on other parrot, and will track her condition. I would go to vet asap, however there are no any in my area. I'll how things go on. I need to rest. See you

I mostly say that in case you have contact with other birds or board them--- you don't want to expose others unknowingly (but if she is acting fine and you have no intention of getting other birds, then you are likely okay for the time being--they do hide illness, but my concern was more about spread than anything).

Sad to hear this:( Sorry, I couldn't help you - I really didn't know how and only was reading the situation:(
I hope with another budgie will be everything ok.

Sorry I cannot add anything to the conversation or give suggestions, but we are giving a prayer that she improves after taking Scott's suggestions.

Mum says to me that now her anus is a bit smaller. Tomorrow I will be heading to pet store, and I will try to ask them for advice. In my area the nearest avient vet is 150 kilometres from me (93 miles away from me).

hey man i hope its getting better maybe there is a budgie breeder close to you who is willing to look since they have alot of experience

I'm sorry to hear about your sick parakeet. This reminds me of my parakeet, Eight, who had exhibited similar symptoms. It started with him casually flying down from his perch then progressed to being too weak to stay on top of it. Also the same with the caked feces on the vent (anus). My vet said it could have started as an infection which developed into sepsis. When it reaches the point of sepsis, survival becomes very slim.

If you have a vet near you, visiting them as soon as possible is the best course of action so they can give your bird medicine (ex. antibiotic injection or oral meds) or the appropriate treatment to his/her condition.

If this is impossible, giving your bird close access to food, water and heat is the next best thing. He may be too weak to perch so give him comfortable bedding. Check his vent (anus) from time to time and clean him up w/ warm water and a soft cloth. Have baby food on hand and a syringe to feed him if he is not able to feed himself. Feed regularly, ideally 4 times a day. Warm up the baby food but not too hot. Lay down sprays of millet next to him. They can still snack on thi s even when very sick.

Sorry if you've done these tings already. Haven't had a chance to read through the 4 pages. Best of luck and stay strong. Thanks for caring for your bird.

Oh no :( I just read your update on page 3. My condolences :(

sorry...I think Scott gave you good advice, so what I said was just supplementary. I really am sorry for your loss...You tried- birds are so hard and yours was loved.
