I got a new addition to my family. A little 6 month old green cheek that I got Saturday February 13th at a local pet store. He was a lone among 6 other green cheek. I was almost bought the cinnamon mutation but I couldn't help but notice him. Sitting alone and walking up to the cage to take a better look at me. He followed me in his cage. The rest of the conure were all to getting scared to come near me. I'm pretty antisocial and have no friends. So I ended up picking him. He bite me a lot and hard, but I would bite a stranger too. (oh yeah, by the way, I'm just going to call it a him because I don't know the sex of him yet. I did order one of those dna kits, so I just have to wait and find out later.)
I haven't given him a name yet but I been calling him "nibbles", because he is biting the heck out of me. I can't train him to do the step trick(with a stick and my finger) because he's semi scared of me but follows me from a distance.
His bites really hurt but I didn't let out any sound of pain.
I just watch him observe his surrounding.
I hope my conure and I become great friends
