My new cockatile

he makes some strange sound when i feed him and when ilet him sit into my shoulder.

now when i go to his cage first he goes another part of perch .after finishing his foods he flies top of fan.ahen i want to take him from fan he tries to go another side.what should i do?

It might help if you read up on general care and behavior of cockatiels. These basics will help in your interaction and training. Just be patient and take things slow. Its a baby and needs to learn its new environment. As others have said, I bigger cage, toys, etc should help.

is it normal,or he starts to hate me?

If you have millet or food, will he come down to you for it?

actually he goes up after finishing his food.and half an hour or hour later he comes down and sit into my shoulder,but maximum time i have to bring him down.

by the way when me and my cousin play he comes down and try to sit into my head or my cousin head .
