My groomer comes to the house and does all my birds nails and wings of the grey's. It took just a few seconds and Sammy didn't even make a sound. I just want to know in-case something happens and there is another macaw in the house. wouldn't want them mating.

I wanted to know does any of you prepare fresh fruit in advance for your Macaws? I went to the grocery store and bout some fruit and veggies and cut them all up and ziplock bagged everything. Fruit in 2 bags and veggies in another 2 bags. I froze 1 bag of each aknd put the other 2 bags in the fridge for everyday use but the fruit look like it may be starting to go bad. Does any of you have any pointers for me?

We cut them fresh on a daily basis so can't help you there!

Congratulations with your new baby girl.
I too cut fresh fruit and Veggies as I need them. The only thing my boys get is baked birdie bread that I make, cut into slices and freeze. Best of luck to you. Joe

She is definately relaxed at home now. Squaking and all Lol. She also barks, growls, and wines like a dog too.

Just an update. Echo is still doing good. She prefers me over my fiance. She will stand on my lap and just fall over cause she trust me to catch her. I can even put her on her back in my hand and she wont move. She is a caracter I tell you. We brought one of my puppies in the house and she started growling and barking at him. She steps up pretty good now and even says step up.
