here are some new pictures from our recent trip to bond with our new babies. Yes we are getting 2 now since they had one little baby that was the last to get a home. I couldn't leave him in good conscience so I put a deposit down on him too until weaned.

The babies were both doing well they were a little flighty at first not wanting to sit long on my fingers, but didn't bite my daughter like was happening last time. My daughter was doing much better with going slow around the babies so not to scare them.

We still have another 2 weeks or so until my daughter's baby, Cinderella, comes home and than probably another 4 weeks until the new baby comes home. Which is good because it'll give me time to get the new baby toys and a cage because right now I don't have one for him. We don't plan on housing them together in the same cage as of right now. Cinderella will be in my daughter's room and Rigby(the new baby) will live in my room.

Not that I have anything against Budgies, but I'm not a big fan of them, never have been.... But I just had to say that those babies are ADORABLE! I especially like the smaller one... So cute! Congrats :)

I was never a big fan of budgies either, and I was really hesitant when my daughter kept asking for one but after researching them I found they'd be perfect for her. Originally we were suppose to just get one but my husband didn't accompany me to the bird store to visit yesterday and didn't specifically tell me "no more birds" so I figured that was his way of saying he wanted me to buy another baby, lol.

They are so cute! It looks like you got yourself a boy and a girl :) I'm kind of surprised that they are jumping away from you. All of my handfed budgies have no fear of people, I have two that just fledged last week and they already fly right to your fingers, actually, I can't even sit them down anywhere because they fly right back to you lol. :D

Well they are handfed but I have a feeling they don't get a lot of socializing. They spend the first couple minutes trying to fly and hide than they settle down. These babies are the best we could find but I am sure we can tame them down more as time goes on.

rhetre beautiful and I love your reasoning about getting the other one. you think like I do haha Alison and sweetie pie:D
