My mynah bird age?

Hello, the only way to tell the gender is through DNA testing. There are no external differences between males and females. In terms of age the bird is at least a juvenile (around 6 months) or older. Again there are no real ways to tell age, but younger birds seem to have white skin around their eyes and it goes yellow with time and exposure to the sun.

Honestly, Common Mynahs are not great talkers, but some certainly do. Mine doesn't and she/he is over 5 now. I have read that they generally learn for the 1st 2 years and then don't really increase what they say. I have no idea if this is true though!

You probably know already, but Common Mynahs need about 25% animal protein in their diets so they're quite different from a lot of other birds and they must have low iron foods as they store it and it is deadly.

In terms of training I can't help. My girl (that's just what I call her) is my little wild thing. She goes into her cage for mealworms, but other than that she does what she wants :)
