My Medori is home (alexadrine parakeet)

Her is about 21 or 22 inches..He is mostly tail. Picture almost the size of a grey or amazon width wise with a long tail..
 
They are definitely birds that need to be part of the action, I sometimes move Jimmy around to wherever we are, he'll call out if he's not part of it, but generally he is quite quiet. He also likes to sit in the sun watching outside. This morning he had a shower and I blowdried him. He loved it. Leaning back eyes closed. Hilarious. He has very much a routine he likes to stick to, and gets bit grouchy if its not adhered too, he too only likes cuddles on his terms usually first thing and morning and just before he goes to bed.

What a gorgeous Bird...Alexandrines look similar to an IRN??...also you take great photos!!


Yeah they are the cousin of the IRN they look almost the same just bigger..
 
He's beautiful! They're such an amazingly beautiful bird. I would love to home a birdy in need! Maybe when my Alex gets a little older :)
