I know what the breeder told me about the bird but wanted your opinion on its colour/sex

Your Ringneck is adorable. Here in the UK we call that particular colour Cobalt Blue.. How old is He/She? Male Ringnecks develop a Dark Circle around their necks, between 18 months and 2 Yrs of age.. The female does not have the ring, so it will , either be a case of waiting to see, or have it DNA tested if you want to know now.

I would say violet blue, but I'm not too keen on all the IRN mutations! Still, very gorgeous!

Yes, it probably is Violet Blue.. There are so many variations of the Blue Colour IRN.

He is a beautiful colour blue.. I love IRNs.

Have a look at this site.. It shows all the colour mutations!
