Very sorry to hear of this. But, am very glad you are considering a rescue, or fostering. We can never replace loved ones, but, a new one makes going on a little better. Good luck.

I just saw your post. I am sad for you but now that you have had a little time to heal, I'm sure you can enjoy the memories. My belated sympathy.HI there
Our lovely African Grey Skye passed away on 1st March, he had contracted Aspergillosis a fungal disease. He was on medication, but its very rare that they recover, so we lost him. The house is so quiet, he ruled the roost, even the 4 dogs were scared of him !
We have always had a parrot, so are going to get another one, either an Amazon or Hahns but would look at rehoming charities first but dont know of any, can anyone help?
