My First Video - Cute and Crazy Parrot Sounds

This is first time I'm posting a video. It was dimly lit in the room when Pritti went into his crazy parrot noise mode, so it might be hard to see - his front half is under a checkered towl and back half is what you see wiggling around. He's sitting on my belly during this. It was so loud, people were coming from the other side of the house to see what ws going on. Hahaa.

Hey Giz... Do u think it is a nesting/mating ritual thing? He only does this in the dark.

Its hard to tape them [I have a heck of a time]. You can always see what a sweetie he is with your pictures .What size would you say they are? I know bigger than my sun.

Yeah, he's a cutie-pie. Pritti is 14" head to tail, and weighs 175gms.

It's hard to say about the nesting thing. To me it sounds like he's in his happy place.

Yes, definitely in a happy place. That's about only half of as "crazy" as it gets sometimes. He could easily do that for an hour. What throws me off from figuring it out is that he only does it in very dim light or darkness when in a secure spot like under furniture, in a corner, on me under the towel "tent". Oh, and then there's the other thing that throws me.... I'm not a parrot and don't "really" know what's going on in his smart ittle brain, lol.

Petrie got very excited listening to that, I try to find youtube vids of sounds for her but they're not that easy to come by.

I really need to get petrie on Skype with some of the birds on this forum, I think she'd go nuts.
