My conure hates me.

My GCC I’ve had for 13 years was always loving he loved cuddle tickles and snuggling into my hair. Just over a year ago now he has become so vicious toward me fling at me and attacking and biting really hard on my ears and fingers he won’t let me near him it’s really upsetting me. The only time he comes to me is when he wants to take a bath. He never used to go to anyone else and be nice to them but that’s all changed he loves every one that comes to my home he’s fallen in love love with my niece and won’t leave her alone. I’m so heartbroken I fear I’ve lost him for good. As I’m wring this I have 4 fingers and 2 knuckles with plasters on where he’s just bitten me trying to get him to bed. Can anyone help me please I’m desperate.

Oh wow, I am so so so so sorry. My conure has rejected me as well, due to my muscular dystrophy and resulting inability to hold and preen him. It breaks my heart, and surely must bother him.
I have no useful ideas, except to say that I'm glad you're here. Thank you for sharing.
