This is not a problem, but I almost kinda envy parrot owners who can keep their birds on the shoulder for long periods of time. Mine is quickly distracted when I'm doing things and he will quickly climb towards my hands, he has this thing where he MUST climb my hand to get to the highest point which is usually a finger. Or he simply wants head rubs and he'll gently nib a finger and put his head down.
He does stay on the shoulder when he's tired though. And I know him so well now I can tell from his body language when he has to poop, so I can always lean over in time so it'll land on the floor. Any idea how I can motivate him to stay on one spot longer, in this case my shoulder?
