Hi Guys,

I just wanted to share my progress on my bird room that I'm so proud of! The side of the room that I'm taking the pics from actually has an open wall to our entry way and living room, so this room is not enclosed. My birds's cages are pretty much empty because they do not spend any time in their cages (if you're wondering why they're empty). Then there's a pic of my living room with the play stands and perch. My husband isn't happy with me, he thinks I went over board... But I love it!! Here's the link to my pics...

Love it! Especially the hanging toy opportunities.

We are planning something similar, but probably for either our keeping room (where we currently have our dining area) or in the "dining room" which we currently use as a laundry area.

I always wanted a Bird Room. My house is just so small... Then again, if I had more space I would just fill it with more birds or bird stations... Lol :)

Wow its Fab...I love it...I could see PeterPan and Mr Biggles enjoying a room like that ...your Fids are so lucky to have all that space beautifully decorated for them and made so interesting...they will really enjoy that space and you have every right to be proud of it...I have a sneaking suspicion hubby is proud of it too but isnt saying in case you start to decorate any more parrot playgrounds in the other rooms of the house :) Beautiful pics :)

Awesome room! You have very lucky birdies:)

Shanna, very cool. But i would worry about that big mirror. Birds don't understand mirrors, and can easily fly smack into one, full bore an then splat.

I think you're right... He's already voiced his concern with me adding hanging bird items in the living room. I had to promise that I wouldn't.

Yes, the mirror was a concern of mine, and my Pionus has ran into it a couple times. But it would seem they've all learned about it because they avoid it now. I think the other two learned from Jewel's crash. Also, they're usually clipped and not able to fly that far, or fast, when they're clipped. Jewel was only able to due my being so sick for 3 months and not able to get her to the vet for her scheduled clipping at that time. But thank you for the tip.

I love your new bird room! Very lucky birds!

Very thoughtfully planned out and executed! Your babies are going to love it!
