My bird has MPD

Sammie has been picking up a few new words. Her first words were "step up" and "good boy!" (why good boy when I only say Good Girl or Good Birdy I have no idea)

Anyway, two new phrases were said tonight "Hi Sammie" and "Hi Baby!"

Here's the rub. When she says the first two phrases she has such a sweet clear voice. The second two phrases she says in robot voice. I figure she's got MPD

My Sam can do the "evil voice" quite well. It honestly gives me the he-bee-je-bees when he sits there and has an entire conversation sounding like a demon. <shudders just thinking about it >

Suddenly, I'm glad that all my girl says is "hello!" If she starts channelling Zuul, I'll have a heart attack.

My Amazon does that exorcist voice all the time! He goes back and forth from using my voice to the evil voice. So entertaining!

My amazon Slater does that as well! He will say in the sweetest little girl voice :Help Me, Help Me!" The next thing out of his mouth in this deep, Exorcist voice is "Let me out!"

Another thing I had no idea about. I'd love to see an example on video, I'll have to have a look and see if I can find one.

I wonder why they do that? I thought they just copied what they were taught. Maybe somebody else is teaching your birds? -pretend shudder-
