ill be sure to post some pics soon! Her trip home was uneventful, completely silent the whole way. She was pretty unphased by everything in her new home, just was quiet and absorbing everything when she first came out of the carrier. Her cage is alot bigger than the one she had at the store but she didnt seem too overwhelmed by it. I put her in her cage with some snacks she likes and did some quiet work around the room (straightening up/organizing) . Several hours later i took her out and played with her and she did great. Im sure she was a little extra docile because of her new environment. LOL. But she was very happy flying back and forth between me and her java tree. Then we ripped up a shoe box together. Then I had some tequila, then we ripped up another shoe box HAHA. And that was our first night together!

Yeah. See.

A lot of that behavior stuff was just environment. Now that it's calm, she'll be much calmer.

The biggest thing is to not give in to that bluffing stuff... they don't get their way by screaming, lunging or biting. And like I said before, set a routine, set the boundaries, and bite pressure train, and you'll have a mush mac on your hands in no time...

After that it's all about socialization. The more they get, the more they enjoy it, and the friendlier the bird becomes. Don't give them enough of it, they are less confident and sometimes leery of strangers...

If allowed to overbond they bite strangers.

It's NOT complicated. They love to play, and they love to be loved.
