Thank you,i guess they are a pair, the male is biggger n has a larger head n beak and is starting to get a black ribon on his neck, they still chicks they 6 month old.the male i call Max n the other birdy num num. please i can use any information about feeding, or any usefull tips.

They look very nice together.

Thanks Birdy numnum.Mine are from Mardan which is home city also.they live along the Indian ring necks here at Mardan in the wild.I also have African grays but this local species has its own grace. Here the sub species is the Alexandrine Nipalese which is the largest with in the species. The birds from Multan are of other sub species which are slender & smaller than this sub-species.

About feeling i love my birds.when ever they see me they call & always say Mittoo mitto, tooti & even call my name.Alexandrine are very play full parakeets.mine even copy the peacocks & Myna,s voices.actually i also have some peacocks so thats why my parrots copy them & respond to peacocks.

birdy numnum.
i feed my guys of mainly pellets and occasionally some seed. the largest part of their diet is fresh fruit and vegies. about once a week ill give them egg, either boiled or scrambled with the shell and aslo little bits of meats that i am eating.
i find variety is the key.

there is a very long list of fesh food that they can have, it will be easier to check out the list of foods that are toxic. there is thread on here, i think in the health section that lists the toxic foods and also toxic woods, flowers, plants and leaves

Gemini our summers are very hot.its June & the temp can rise up to 47 C.So i usually mix Multi vitamins & Electrolytes in the birds drinking water.not only parrots but i give it to every & each bird.lots of fresh fruits to parrots & fresh green leaves to ground birds. This keep my birds very healthy.
