2 Quaker Parrots, Male: Squeaker & Female: Pickles
Okay I get a phone call from home from my mother telling me that our Quakers just laid an egg in a odd spot !
Our female laid her egg on the bottom of her cage near a corner. How would I get access to cleaning there cage without disturbing her and her partner ?
Also, We're moving ! ! ! Is there anyway we can bring our beloved quakers with us ? We move in a week ! This is all crazy...
What should i do for the female quaker ? Give her cotton balls to build up her nest ? Get a shoe box and put the 2 in there to nest so i can access to clean there cage ? PLEASE ! I need advice !
Thank you for reading my post !

Just my humble opinion.. Maybe try to get a nest for quaker at any petshops then try to put inside the cage first(see if she like the nest or not), then maybe put in those eggs into the nest without being notice.

if you are worrying that you would disturb her often. maybe find an incubator or if someone or friends has it you can lend it. also if you can ppl provide inbubation services it would be best. since you are moving i assume that the second option would be better.

Okay.... advice? Remove the egg, decrease the amount of light daily, change the cage around and remove any nesting spots that are can be viewed from the cage.
As you are moving in a week that will put her off even more so you should be alright.
You can give liquid calcium to put in her water, and with cuttlle fish bone and maybe a bit of boiled egg she should be fine.
You really don't want them breeding until you've done the research and everything is settled done.
She'll be fine if you do all that.
Then in a few months when everything is settled, you can maybe think about breeding them.

I had a budgie like this lol. She is so stubborn and she almost died once because of it. You don't want your quaker to get egg-binding, trust me.
