Mutation identification + encouraging eating

Are you sure it's a she?
Fairly? I don't know much about color mutations but I was told that she's most likely female since she's pearl.

You will likely find out after the first molt. All juveniles (male or female) can have pearling, but after the first molt the males are usually the ones that lose that pearling. You can also tell by the barring of the tail, juveniles have it but females are the only ones that retain it.
